Clare's childhood memoirs My Animals and Other Family is published on 13th September, and you can order the book on Amazon, Waterstones or WHSmith now.

AND if you'd like your copy to be autographed by Clare herself, she will be signing books at the venues and times below. Diaries at the ready people!

  Clare, I love your book. I haven't been able to put it down.I have completely captivated by your story. I have laughed so much and cried too. I even cried when you became head of house! We are exactly the same age and your book stirred up so many memories of my childhood which was also a bit mad. Strangely my childhood was full of pony club games, crazy cats and dogs, awkward childhood friendships, nasty bitchy girls. Reading your book brought back unpleasant memories similar to things that happened to you.However, I realise that I had a fantastic time really and I survived it all.
